HAPPY NEW YEAR! Bark-A-Bout is excited to share the upcoming year with all of our favorite friends and furry four-legged companions! Throughout 2014 each of you has left paw-prints on our hearts! It is imPAWsible to forget all of the fun times weve shared! To highlight and reflect upon some of our favorite accomplishments throughout 2014: Bark-A-Bout succeeded in the beautiful renovation of our outdoor play area, sending lots of tails wagging! With your help and the teamwork of countless local organizations, together we’ve brought thousands of dogs the medicine, food and shelter they need. Through C.H.A.I.N.E.D , Inc. we raised $850 and several hundred pounds (still counting) of food and treats for neglected dogs throughout the city of Detroit. “Paint with a Purpose” raised $1,400 to help local dogs in need. Through the “Heroes Helping Heroes” campaign, Bark-A-Bout succeeding in bringing pet oxygen masks to the Shelby Twp. Fire Department, helping them get one step closer to reaching their goal of supplying oxygen masks to every fire truck across Metro Detroit. Bark-A-Bout’s “Ice Bucket Challenge” and “Shop For A Cure” Vendor Fair raised $2,076.25 for ALS of Michigan. We’ve shared thousands of smiles with you throughout the year! Between all of our fun contests and dog competitions, from Dock Diving to Costume and Photo Contests, we truly couldnt ask for better people and furry companions to share our year with!!
