Zephaniah 3:17. NASB I love the 3,573 promises JESUS puts in the Bible. I need JESUS help Continually, and HE always seems eager to provide it for Joyce and me. We can only love HIM imperfectly, but HIS loves comes back strong and vibrant. Instead of worrying about the ways we fall short, we try and focus on doing what We can do out of Love for JESUS. Our inadequacy can actually be a blessing. It can protect us from self-righteousness. It make us depend on HIM. He is our life line, and gives us the final answer. The more we bother HIM, the Closer we seem. We are very dependent, and cling to HIM every morning and all through the day in silent prayer. We are as weak as water, and our faith falters, and stutters like an old Model T Ford. But when we feel like we are loosing our grip, we cry out to JESUS. He takes hold of our right hand says, dont fear, I will help you. Isaiah 41:13 FOR I AM THE LORD, YOUR GOD, WHO TAKES HOLD OF YOUR RIGHT HAND AND SAYS TO YOU. DO NOT FEAR, I WILL HELP YOU. We cannot escape fear. We can only transform it into a companion that accompanies us on our exciting adventures, on The Royal Road To Romance, With our Creator, Sustainer. Take a risk a day, one small or bold stroke toward JESUS, it will make you feel great. Check it out. Each of us have a Mental Map of our successes, failures, and Fears, information we use to guide us on this adventure called life. In this mental map, we all have Dragons, Fears of Skydiving, Failure, Flying to Alaska, Dying, Fishing next to Grizzly Bears in Alaska. Sometimes these Dragons are valid. Sometimes, however they prevent us from discovering something new and exciting. The Fear of the LORD is the beginning of Wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
