HAPPY SUNDAY LEADERS! We present to you what had transpired in our Special Meeting yesterday at the Voorbrug Public Library. As we had failed to progress effectively with our AGM due to the members and leaders who were not that much available because of other committments and those who are not committed. The Special Meetings aim was to appoint a committee of 9 leaders within LEMOSA to fill the posts for which we have in our structure. As that was the aim we had managed to achieve it as the majority for which we were present in the SM (Special Meeting). We began as usual and evaluated the work done, capabilities, failures, SWOT and we decided to check the availability, dedication and earger of the past structure then decided to nominate a newly structure. We then progressed to the appointments and we check the skills, dedication, earger and the volunteerism within the person as well as willingness to serve within the LEMOSA. The appointments went as far as follows: 1. Asavela Peko - President 2. Mfundo Msila - Deputy President 3. Mawande Makayakude - Secretary General 4. Sinovuyo Zinyusile - Deputy Secretary General 5. Jongilizwe Nomphahliswa - Treasurer General 6. Zandiswa Bilizana - Organizer General 7. Aviwe Matebese - Researcher (Investigator) 8. Thabiso Mareletse - Marketing Officer 9. Simphiwe Dzele - Programming Officer This structure is temporary for a period of 3 months. We need to see them proving themselves in order to retain their positions on permanent basis till next years AGM. We believe more than we know that this structure will transform the LEMOSA and the landscape of the education in a positive manner. We are hopeful that all of you who are our supporters, friends, family and many more will support us to master our duties while trying to pass this 3 months test. It is my duty as the President of the Learners Movement of South Africa (LEMOSA) to congratulate, welcome and embrace this above mentioned structure to be appointed to serve with the organization. We will work together moving forward as a unite and I wish those who were are succeeded can come and support us even more. We also wish they understand why such changes had to be made as the failed to show up for the AGM and the SM. Thank you for the support to all of you and your likes mean a lot to us. However, our team will release a statement to thank you for the help and overall things youve done for our organization live in a press conference of the LEMOSA on the 1 April 2014 when the organization will be turning 4 years in existance.
