HAPPY TAIL FOR THIS LITTLE ONE! Pip came into our rescue with his two little sisters, Squeak and Squirt. They were abandoned at a high kill pound, with little chance of rescue due to the sheer volume of unwanted animals that are abandoned each and every day. This is the sad reality as many shelters are overburdened and overwhelmed by abandoned pets through no fault of their own. As hard as we try, we know that we cant save them all but on this day, we knew we had to help these little sweethearts who had no one else coming to their rescue. Pip very quickly became a loving part of his foster home, where he learned that cuddling with dogs and cats is fun! He soon caught the attention of a wonderful family who had recently lost their beloved cat, Peyton. Their home just wasnt the same and so they began their search for another rescue in need. A mutual friend of theirs and of our rescue, Jess, contacted us on behalf of her dear friends. And so we started a beautiful journey with this amazing family, and helping it along with Pip enjoying his beautiful new life with Kyla & Aaron, his adorable human sister Mabel, his big tuxedo brother Owen and Finn, his new canine BFF. It has become clear that Pip has found his perfect furever home and we could not be more thrilled! Special thanks to our friends at Dundas West Animal Hospital for taking such good care of this sweet kitten, as they do with so many of our rescued kitties. So everyone, help me in welcoming Monty to his new name and his new life
