HAPPY THANKSGIVING! - Getting an early start today with a super HEALTHY breakfast...... THANKSGIVING MUESLI INGREDIENTS: 2 1/2 cups rolled oats 2 cups plain non-fat yoghurt - note: dont use Greek yoghurt for this recipe as it is too thick 1 cup non-fat milk 1 tsp cinnamon 1 large banana mashed 1 small apple grated 2 cups chopped dried fruit of your choice - I like apricots, cranberries, golden raisins, apples 1 cup nuts of your choice - Hazelnuts are traditional for this dish, but use whatever you have Honey to taste METHOD: Dump the oats into a big mixing bowl. Add the yoghurt and milk and mix well. Refrigerate overnight. In the morning add the remaining ingredients. The oats will be really thick, so add additional milk to loosen up the muesli. Great dish for kids to make for themselves!
