HAPPY THANKSGIVING 2-13!!!!! We know this is a difficult day being away from your loved ones and can certainly relate as we have spent many holidays away from our Soldiers as well. You will be happy to hear that your Soldiers will get a Thanksgiving feast that will be served to them by the Battalion Command Team and the Company Command Teams. Their meal will include soda and dessert and they are very excited about that since they have not had either one of these things since Basic Training began! Even though you are separated from your Soldier the Army is a gigantic family so they will not be alone on Thanksgiving! As a matter of fact there will be many families (including mine) that will be eating with your Soldiers. The volunteers will also be taking BONUS PICTURES today!!!! We will not be able to separate out the companies because once they get into the dining hall we cannot tell the difference!!! The pictures will be posted to this page at a time that is convenient for each volunteer so please be respectful and patient! This long weekend is the perfect opportunity to download and save your companies pictures. After the cycle the are deleted so make sure you save them! Tagging your soldier does not save them. Also if you have not completed AFTB 1,2, and 3 this is a great time for that as well. We understand how hard it is to be separated, but keeping your mind focused on the productive things makes all the difference in the world!!! Forty Rounds......~Tina and the rest of the 2-13 FRG
