HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE! Today, as we pause to give our thanks before we fill our bellies, I just wanted to say a few words to those that few who read my posts....occasionally a few thoughts creep into my head on these holidays... this, being one of those occasions! Today, while we are busy with our family and friends, please stop for a few moments to think of those families who will have an empty chair at the table, or wont have a table at all! Please, stop and think of those that wont have a home. Im thankful for all I have. Im thankful for the littlest things, right down to my little furry kids who are constantly under my feet but make me laugh on a daily basis...laughter that I hold dearly! Im thankful for the home I live in, the bed I sleep in and the food that sustains my body! But, far above all of that, Im thankful to the ONE, True God I serve for giving me all these things and allowing me to become the person I am today. For, through the many trials Ive overcome, Ive survived! Im thankful for the pain I have each day, it reminds me just how strong I really am! Im thankful for the back pain, it reminds me I have legs to hold me up. Im thankful for the daily eye pain, it reminds me I still have eyes that can see. There are so many who have so much less than the rest of us do. Today, I will stop and think of them and especially our troops who are serving to protect our country. Today, I will be thinking of those men and women who cannot be home with their families today or may never be home again because God has called them home. Today, my thoughts and prayers will be with those families! Im praying God will bring comfort to them.... Be blessed everyone!
