HAPPY THANKSGIVING Southland... If for some INEXCUSABLE reason you missed last Sunday, make sure you watch for the video of the service that is being edited by Joe Majewski. Who, along with George Lopez-Acosta, did some of the best photography and videography Ive ever seen. And what they captured on film was a SPIRIT-FILLED...JESUS-HONORING...GOD-WORSHIPPING gathering of Stinky Sheep at a place called The Church @ Southland. It would take hours for me to share ALL of the comments and testimonies that I have received since Sunday. THANK YOU...THANK YOU...THANK YOU all for doing what I asked by filling theater 10 with people searching for a church or in need of CHRIST or both. You put bodies in those seats and the Spirit lit a fire in their hearts. JUICY FRUIT: GENTLENESS begins this week. It is the second to the last of the FRUIT and often overlooked. Grab that loved-one or friend you brought last week and bring them to hear what the King wants to produce in their NEW LIFE IN CHRIST. BASIC INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE LEAVING EARTH (B.I.B.L.E.) class has only two weeks (2 disciplines) remaining. Make sure youre in theater 12 @ 9:00 this Sunday to learn about the discipline of SERVING! I have much to be thankful for this day. My children...my family...my friends...my health...and YOU SOUTHLAND. What a ride these 6 years have been. And I am beyond the ability to express my thanks to our King...my Lord...our Savior...JESUS the Christ for His decision to spend time at Marcus every week. All my love... Pastor J Thanks a Lot The Thank You I extend is not A little thank you. It’s a lot! Like loads of lumber from the mill This heartfelt gratitude could fill A hundred freight cars back to back, Lingering long upon the track Until the whole load has been spread A mile along the railroad bed. It takes five engines all in gear To move the Thank You now you hear. In inches first does it advance, Barely noticed at a glance. But watch the straining, lumbering freight, For it will soon accelerate And, effortless, traverse the route, Designed to bring my thanks about. This ever grateful heart I’ve got Is scheduled to return a lot. It’s long in passing and inclined To call your kindnesses to mind. eddiehaive Thank the Lord As I consider all the Lord has done, My Thank You is an everlasting one. For moving me from darkness into light And giving me the power to live right; For every moment focused on His word, (In every one my grateful heart was stirred), For all the witnesses that I have seen Who, in the midst of woes, remain serene; For those forgotten by the world today, Whom God is blessing in His faithful way, They’re not forsaken, He remembers all. He possesses absolute recall. My gratitude is long and deep and wide. It stretches far beyond the other side. It knows no bounds for what the Lord has done. My Thank You is an everlasting one. eddiehaive
