HAPPY UPDATZ FROM THIS WEEKEND!!! Rescued Friday night.......Casper, now named Nuala (pronounced Noo-lah for a Gaelic name meaning white shoulders) is loving her new life in a real home! What a difference 48hrs makes! Look at the sweet smile on her face! Nuala LOVES her new pet parents who hug and pet on her constantly. For her first night off the streets, last night, she slept in a bed right next to them and actually stretched out and slept all through the night! She LOVES her new giraffe stuffed animal and puts her head on it often. She actually chewed on a bone today! She loves the fenced back yard and is eating well (so spoiled by her new foster parents who made her chicken to go with her food!)! From a health perspective, Nuala has terrible parasitic worms for which she is being treated, has been fully vetted, and got a nice, warm bath! She is in heat, and as soon as she out of that cycle, she will be spayed and microchipped. What a sweetheart this dog is....actually now coming to her pet parents for affection rather than running from it. We are so happy she is rescued, but saddened that this rescue was not one of the missing dogs about whom we were contacted, Rocket or Annabelle. Still praying for the return of those dogs to their rightful owners. We REALLY NEED some help to offset her medical costs.
