HARBOUR ARM STUDIOS Mark Kempson Telephone: 07525 947 343 Address: Stone Pier, Margate Harbour Arm, Kent, CT9 1AP The studios are situated on the Harbour Arm in Margate where artists are encouraged to exhibit and create their work. The studio is a very well lit area with a three quarter glazed roof and a fully glazed frontage giving the work fabulous Thanet light. The concept for exhibiting is simple. You rent a great space , you then tell everyone when you’re showing your art and you exhibit your work. As somebody who tried to find out about doing just this it became evident it was not that simple as getting all the aspects together to make the exhibition a success meant the time and effort to find all the components was very off putting. The exhibition requires marketing which encompasses publicity, advertising and other forms of medium to let people know you are there and why. With this in mind we can offer the services required to assist you such as local media coverage, e media publicity, printed flyers, press releases, publicity in the form of flyers, notice boards across Thanet, catalogues, opening night party and any other service you may need can be carried out on your behalf. We aim to use local trades for as much as possible even down to the wine and nibbles as the studios want to generate revenue for the Thanet economy. We have a local framer, printer, web designer and many more even down to the bakers if needed. The costs for providing the studio and services are kept as low as possible to encourage exhibiting and for a very small amount you can rent the space and simply show your work . WORKSHOPS can also be run from the studio for a daily hire fee so if you want to create by the sea then no better place to do it than here.
