Access to select businesses along Pearl will be maintained from the south during the construction phase, according to the city. After completion of the project, scheduled for next summer, the Pearl segment will reopen as a privately-owned, more narrow right-of-way with a traffic circle to slow vehicles and protect pedestrians walking between the casino and a large surface parking
