HATED FOR HIS VISION (3) The meanings of Josephs dreams were too obvious to be ignored. His brethren themselves have rightly, though bitterly, interpreted it and they tried everything humanly possible to scuttle the dreams. The second dream too was aptly interpreted by their father, Jacob, who asked. Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow ourselves to thee to the earth?. But Josephs dream or vision was beyond his becoming an ordinary local champion, to be reverred only by his immediate family. Listen to what King Pharaoh told Joseph: Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled ... I have set thee over all the land of Egypt ... and without thee shall no man lift his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt (Gen. 41:40-44). This simply implied that Joseph was virtually ruling the whole world,as there was famine everywhere, only in the land of Egypt was food available due to Josephs God-given wisdom, which he graciously shared with the Egyptian monarch. So, since people were coming from all over the world, and it was Joseph who was attending to them all, they had no option than to bow down to him if they didnt want to die of hunger. And Joseph was the governor over the land, and he it wasthat sold to all the people ..., (and it was at this very moment that Josephs brethren came), and Josephs brethren came, and bowed down themselves before him with their faces to the earth (Gen. 42:6). Somebody is reading this posting now, I prophesy into your life today that your enemies will bow down themselves with their faces to the ground in front of you in Jesus name. Amen. ( Be Continued).
