HAVE YOU CALLED THE MEDIA TODAY??? #SayNoToCommonCore I had an interview yesterday with the Huffington Posts education editor for their online news outlet, in regards to our national protest and the problems with Common Core in general. I think the interview went AWESOME! It was a long interview and I am so pleased with the information that I was able to give to her! I gave her the Five Reasons to Drop Common Core and the source Henry W. Burke (I have previously posted these reasons if you want to see them, please scroll down this page). I let her know that we are encouraging every single state to march on their capitol in peaceful protest on November 18th. I let her know that I can guarantee there will be a lot of people in Albany, NY on that day protesting! Parents, children, and other citizens will be participating. I asked her to please send the media Lets make a ton of signs! Especially signs that say, IF YOURE FOR CORE, YOURE OUT THE DOOR - Courtesy of Jennifer Kolesar She asked what the ultimate outcome of this protest would be and I told her this: We want the President of the United States to address the nation and to assure all of us parents and citizens that he will be getting rid of the Race to the Top program. We should not have to battle this in 50 states. The President needs to represent his people! ^^^ I hope that statement gets posted... She said that the article should be ready by the end of the week!
