HAVING A WONDERFUL TIME WITH MY HUBBY, ROSS, ON OUR ROAD TRIP TO BRANSON MO. Join me each day as I share the great experiences, what to enjoy, and what to avoid! Day 1. We left Canada on Friday morning and drove to Indianapolis, Indiana. It was a 9 hour drive! The country side was beautiful, flat and very green, but the highways were covered with retreds from trucks. And unfortunately is was also a common site to see lots of deers who had lost their lives. We have met some very nice people. Amazing how everyone thinks WE have the accent with being Canadians :) Day 2: It was a driving day. After our 7 hour scenic drive we arrived in beautiful Branson MO. It is awesome to come into the warm weather. After our long winter I had forgotten how great summer weather is. Our stay at the Welk Resort is very relaxing giving Ross and I the much needed rest we both needed. If you have the opportunity to stay in Branson MO. Check out Welk Resort as a great choice for your holiday stay. Day 2: Today we toured Branson. I was amazed to see how many shows, museums, shopping, restaurants, outdoor activities and so much more that you can enjoy here. Today we enjoyed one of the most amazing concerts we have ever experienced- The Haygoods.....thehaygoods... they are a MUST to add to your holiday adventure. After the show I had the opportunity to meet one of the Haygoods -Timothy, and his father. Not only are the Haygoods an incredibly talented group but also VERY nice people. Speaking to Timothy I could feel him to be very grounded and an all round good person. I am in the process of booking them on Get Inspired Radio. Stay tuned for the airing date for their interview.
