HAWAIIANS - Soon people that you know, Hawaiians like you will come visiting you. Telling you that Hawaiians stand to lose a lot of things if you dont sign up soon. DO NOT SIGN!!! On the surface, to Hawaiians this looks like a pono concept. Their goal is to form a nation of Hawaiians to supposedly preserve Hawaiian entitlements, however there are deeper ramifications. The Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA) have been attempting through the failed attempts to form Kau Inoa and later Kanaiolowalu in order to do just that under the guise of self determination for native Hawaiians. For many the problem lies within the process and the deeper ramifications of their efforts. By design or oversight the success if their process is achieved, steps closer towards what the illegal annexation and statehood of the Hawaiian islands could not do and that is to exterminate once and for all the sovereign status of the descendants of Hawaiian nationals and their lawful claims. Back in 1893, U.S. troops landed on Hawaiian soil without consent or orders of the President of the United States nor by the Kingdom of Hawaii through its Queen. This was in breach of treaties between 2 governments. The Queen used a process through the Law of Nations to preserve the right for the nation to be restored. The annexation of these islands by the United States of America was done through a joint resolution of Congress. A joint resolution has no extraterritorial jurisdiction which means that they did not have the legal ability to exercise authority beyond their normal boundaries. The only lawful way to legally obtain the islands was through a treaty of annexation between 2 countries or by conquest through war. Neither of these occurred. What it meant is that by completing a joint resolution, all they did was declare that the Hawaiian islands were from that point on a territory of the United States. It had no lawful effect. The act was also a Constitutional violation and with their military on Hawaiian soil placed Hawaii under military occupation. Under the rules of occupation certain things falls into place. First, the laws of the occupied nation goes into effect including penal codes as long as it does not create a threat to the well-being of the occupying force. 2nd, no foreigners or non-Hawaiian subjects could be transported into these islands and 3rd, no Hawaiian subjects could be transported outside of the islands. All of these and more were ignored. Everything from the illegal occupation, to the unlawful overthrow, the annexation by joint resolution instead of the required treaty up to the unlawful vote for statehood were attempts to take away the sovereign status of the Hawaiian subjects nor their descendants. You can take away a nations government as America has done here in Hawaii but the sovereign status of the people still remains. The only way you can take that away from them and to end all lawful claims is by consent and herein lies the deeper ramifications of these efforts. If Hawaiians agree to these efforts, if they consent to the process, they risk the forfeiture of all lawful claims and loss of sovereign status. The process takes advantage of those who are not educated enough about our lawful standing. What the push is all about is that more and more Hawaiians are learning about what America did and the ramifications of their actions. They want people to give up their claims before even more can become aware. They will tell these people that you are at risk of losing your land, your money, your entitlements as Hawaiians but what they are not telling them is that these lands, the money that the state lands produce are not entitlements as Hawaiians but their actual rights as a lawful claimants with sovereign status. Whats worse is that they are using Hawaiians and dangling pocket change in front of them to have them sign up friends, family and neighbors to the Native Hawaiian Roll to do this and these poor Kanaka dont even know that they are being used to end their own rights.
