HAWAINIAN CHICKEN WINGS By: Cindys Creole Kitchen cindyscreolekitchen 12 or 16 chicken wings 1 (20 oz.) can pineapple, chunk or sliced, in natural juices 3/4 c. soy sauce (I use lite soy sauce) 1 cup of orange juice 1 cup pineapple juice 1 teaspoon of ginger 1 teaspoon of paprika 3 tablespoon of cider vinegar 3 Tablespoons of brown sugar dark or light (I used dark brown sugar) 1 orange 1 teaspoon of mustard ¼ cup melted butter 2 garlic cloves 1 med. Onion 2 stalks of green onion chopped for garnish optional 1 stalk celery, chopped 1 cup streadded carrots optional 1/2 c. packed brown sugar 1 green pepper, cut in long strips 1 red bellpepper, cut in long strips 1 yellow bell pepper, cut in long strips 1 orange bellpepper, cut in long strips Combine all ingredients add chicken wings. Marinate overnight Add all bellpeppers and put the pineapple on top. Chop garlic, celery, and the edges from the sliced bellpeppers. Put in oven uncovered for 45 min oven set to 350 Put on large platter with juice and serve or pour half the juice over chichen wings topped with bellpeppers and pineapples carrots cook for 30 min at 400 take out stir pour remaining sauce if needed put back in oven for 20 min serve in sauce or with sauce on the side.
