HBO sure are doing their best to gay-up Game of Thrones. Latest example: Oberyn Martell. In the books= totally not gay! A mans man, a warrior hell bent on vengeance, not one iota of gay. Even the whole Renly/Loras Tyrell relationship was blown waaay out of proportion. In the book it is artfully eluded to through character hearsay and jests about Renlys Rainbow Kingsguard. On HBO, boom, graphic fellacio. Oddly enough the writers of the show have thus far ignored every single lesbian encounter in the books, of which there are numerous. Dany and her little harem of handmaidens, hell even Cersei Lannister is getting down. Nope, lets focus on manlove. WTF.
