HCA Virginia Physicians Launches Central Virginia’s First Network Online Scheduling Platform System will improve patient access and provider availability Patients looking to schedule their next primary care or women’s health checkup at an HCA Virginia facility can now do so online. Central Virginia’s first true network online appointment scheduling platform gives patients more control over when and how they schedule, 24/7 access to appointment availability, and real-time confirmations. “Convenient access to care is one of our top priorities, and we want to give patients the flexibility to schedule appointments in ways that best meet their needs,” said Benjamin Calkins, vice president of operations for HCA Capital Division Physician Services. “We are happy to offer this functionality to our patient base, and look forward to other initiatives launching this year to further enhance that access.” HCA Virginia Physicians is a group comprised of 15 primary care (family medicine, internal medicine, and pediatrics) sites branded under the name Primary Health Group, seven women’s health practices practicing obstetrics and gynecology, and 12 specialty health practices concentrating in various sub-specialties of care (bariatric surgery, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, ear nose and throat care, endocrinology, general surgery, gynecologic oncology, infectious diseases, maternal-fetal medicine, neurology, spinal medicine, and sports medicine). HCA Virginia is accepting new patients at all Primary Health Group and women’s health locations.
