HE British Ambassador to Tunis, Hamish Cowell, met the executive team of the “Association Tunisienne des Controleurs Publiques” (ATCP), to celebrate their achievements carried out since 2012. The ATCP’s programme objective was to strengthen the professional skills of 120 Tunisian public auditors to fight public administration corruption and mismanagement. In addition to that they managed to deliver valuable activities such as the development of the Code of Ethics for public auditors, which was adopted by a decision of the Head of Government. ATCP also became member of the International Open government Partnership-OGP. The British Embassy Tunis is pleased to have worked with ATCP, providing over £260k through the UK’s Arab Partnership Fund.
