HE MOURNED SERIOUSLY FOR HIS ENEMY They were serious rivals. It was known by all, even by the deaf and dumb of their community. Then his rival died of poison. Naturally, all accusing fingers were pointed at him. But, he was not the one who killed his rival. At the funeral he wept seriously but some said they are crocodiles tears. He was also allowed to say something at the funeral and he did. This is what he said, I have lost my closest enemy but most distant useful friend. For all I have in this community that commands your respect was propelled by the man in the casket. I always wanted to be ahead of him and him of me. You all need enemies like him to do more and be recognized in the society. His death is my death. Stagnation whistles around me now. Sometimes your antagonist is your helper and your best friend in disguise. I can count some of you here who call me your friend but has stolen from me what this enemy-friend help me achieve.
