HE WHO WINS SOULS IS WISE...Proverbs 11:30. People of God Most High: some of us can be the most articulate, most well educated in the gospel, and we can have the most eloquent of speech and can preach a mighty good message to those in the pews. We can dance, we can shout, we can run all around the church, we can prophecy, we can sing, etc...etc. And that all has its place, and Im not against this at all, BUT now with all of that we do, I just want all of us to ponder one question in our hearts tonight: Are we WINNING souls, gaining a soul to the kingdom of God? Are we doing what Jude said in 1:23 of his book when he said to us And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. Are we telling them WHO JESUS IS-- AND WHAT HE HAS DONE FOR THEM THROUGH HIS SHED BLOOD ON THE CROSS? If not, then how are you (we) winning a soul? If you dont have the wisdom and power of The Holy Ghost that destroys and breaks yokes of bondage, and if youre not preaching or teaching the word that changes or challenges the peoples mindset to get saved, delivered, and set free... then all that other stuff you do, or preach, or teach, dont mean anything at all. Whats the use of telling somebody what a word means in the greek and hebrew texts if they cant even get the understanding through the simplicity of the word of God of what SALVATION through JESUS CHRIST really means, first?
