HEADS UP, CLASS OF 74------------ Its our 40th!!! Plans in place! Please RSVP today! There will be several events over the 4-day weekend with “all classes”. Full schedule of events below. But here is the information on the 40th Reunion Get-Together for the Class of 1974: When: Saturday – October 18, 2014 Time: 7pm – 2am Where: Rocky Vanders - 698 Milwaukee Avenue, Prospect Heights, IL 60070 (Just south of Palatine Road.) Dress: Casual Cost is $15 per person. Spouses and significant others welcome. The charge covers the venue, appetizers, tax and gratuity. Pizzas, pasta salad and veggie trays will be served from 7-10pm. Full cash bar will be open the entire time (7pm-2am)! That being said, we encourage responsible drinking. More details to come. You should know that this is the 50th anniversary of WHS and there is supposed to be some celebration of that during half-time. Just in case you were thinking of skipping the game! Friday, October 17th - “All Class” gathering after the game at Chevy Chase Country Club. Sponsored by the Bombers. There is a small cover- more information as we get it. Runs usually from 7pm- ??? Cash bar, music, raffles. Lots of fun! Saturday, October 18th – “Bombers Picnic” (Usually around mid-day. More info as we get it.) Have a hot dog and a drink for a great price- all proceeds benefit a scholarship fund for a WHS graduate. Includes a raffle for some pretty cool stuff! And you cannot beat the scenery!! Held at Dam#1, Potawatomie Woods. Always breathtaking that time of year! Bring a football or Frisbee, or just come and hang with your classmates! Optional: Thinking if folks want to group/regroup for breakfast on Saturday or Sunday, there is a “Walker Brothers Pancake House” in Arlington Heights on Dundee Road. Menu looks awesome.
