Consider these too: The Ogun State govt accepted dat it systematically deceived the good people wth a promise of free health services in 2011. The Comm for Informatn, Mr Yusuf Olaniyonu, said dis on Paramount FM dat Sen Amosun never promised free health to any category of people. The NMA painted dis denial as unfortunate, empty and height of political deceit. The NMA Chairman thus advised d public There is no free health in Ogun State as such people should stop assaulting doctors and other health workers. Attack the govt instead. Consider these again: The NMA also alleged that health equipments donated by foreign donors to the state govt were sold to the receiving hospitals. The NMA described this as unprecedented fraud What about these: The Ogun state House of Assembly Committee on Finance and Appropriation once stressed that d only public teaching hospital in d state ,OOUTH, had fallen under a SORRY condition, saying many of its facilities had dilapidated and in a state of disrepair. It described the situation as unfortunate and irresponsible. These too: The Ogun State Commissioner for Health, Dr Oluokun Soyinka, at a retreat held for Senior health workers early this year expressed bitterness towards the worsening state of healthcare. The majority of the General Hospitals are in the shadow of what it used to be and even the Teaching Hospital in Sagamu is nt better, he lamented.
