HEAR YE, HEAR YE! READ ALL ABOUT IT... Hi everyone. I hope all of you are in the middle of a great weekend. My birthday is Thursday, Ill be 58. In March of 2008 on the day I was diagnosed with amyloidosis and MM with a 6 months death sentence---well, lets just say 58 seemed no longer an option. But you can bet your sweet bippy on Thursday Ill be dancing and singing and celebrating the whole day of this gift of another day, month, and past year!!! Lets talk about ROCKS RUN. Obviously, a first Board meeting will give birth to our big dream of raising $500,000.00 for research and awareness of Amy. Were calling our board The Cure Commission. Hope it works for you, I like it. Were on a mission to find the cure for amyloidosis and it is a laser focus on CURE. Can I get a witness?!?! Heres the plan----I had surrendered to waiting till after the the holidays until I could no longer ignore the fact that amyloidosis will not take a break until after Christmas, in fact, some will die. Nope, the Rocks rollin baby! I can give all of you 2-4 hours of my holiday season without having a nervous breakdown. Who else? About 15 or so said you would be on the Cure Commission. If you will make a commitment to be here for the vast majority of the meetings (which will be every 4-6 weeks) then send to my email [email protected] your name, address, cell number, email address and give me a preliminary idea of your talent, gifts or abilities. The meeting will take place here in Peachtree City on Monday December 15th at 1pm. I will give you the address of our location in the next day or so, be watching. I will have a working document for everyone to work from. TOGETHER we will put the RUN into motion. I will have an outline for us to use as a point of reference and as we finish our day, we will tour the facility. Lets light this candle!!!!!
