HEARTBREAKING...see pic in comment of dog tied to pole. Prayers Roman. What is your thought on this??? Ive followed your story with the boys from the beginning and would like to ask you to help me spread the story about Roman, a German Shepard my aunt and I rescued on 12/28/14. Roman was abandoned (tied to a telephone pole) here in Flagler Beach Florida. I was hoping you could post it in order to spread the word about the evil doctor that did this. I know in the world of rescue, you dont know whats truth and what isnt, but this is truth. Please check out WIS 10 News in South Carolina. They aired Romans story last night and this morning on the news. This story needs to reach as many people as possible, not only to shame this doctor for what he did, but to show that its just not your typical, run of the mill, inner city scumbag that does this type of thing to a dog, and that it has GOT to stop! Ive been involved with Romans rescue for a week now and he is doing well and looking once again for his forever home. Ive attached a photo of the crime scene. Please share this for me. Just came from visiting Roman. He is doing wonderful and is a total love bug. His badly infected groin area is clearing up, so much so that he let me actually handle that area tonight. My aunt and I are still in contact with Pawmetto Lifeline in South Carolina to determine what the next course of action will be. They of course, have their legal department involved, so any adoption requests for Roman will still need to go through them. The adopter is not fairing nearly as well. The court of public opinion is not being kind to him, nor should they be. Of course, and as Im sure youre accustomed to, the doctors few supporters are bad mouthing my aunt and I, accusing us of searching for our 15 minutes of fame, blah, blah, blah. We are trying to remain focused on Roman, getting him healed and finding him the home he so richly deserves! Any help you can give me, given your widespread Facebook base, would be greatly appreciated to achieve that and to help get this monster prosecuted here in Florida for his crime. There is a Justice for Roman petition circulating on Petitionhub.org seeking 5000 signature to present to Flagler County Sheriff to charge the good doctor accordingly. ****************************************************************************** I will try to locate the petition.
