HEARTWARMING UPDATE ON ABANDONED SHEPHERD.... I just received a beautiful message from the lady that contacted me about the shepherd that was abandoned in her neighborhood in Memphis. Thanks to all of you sharing the original post, the woman received over 50 calls from people wanting to take the shepherd in. She feels she has found the most perfect home for the dog and wanted to share his fate with us. He is with a family from Clarksville, Tennessee and he will be going thru training very soon to be a service dog. The family has 3 children and their father is disabled. He was wounded in combat and has been looking for a dog to train to assist him. The shepherd will be trained by the Raja Renada Ranch that specializes in training service dogs. So this sweet dog that had little HOPE himself just a few days ago, is going on to greatness by giving HOPE to a hurting family. Thank you for sharing his plight.
