HEAVEN OR HELL by Hilda Mensah-Ackun There are two main abodes in the world Dwelling places we all know about From the least in the world to the greatest of individuals We all will end up there a time to come You might live in a mansion, a bungalow or cottage But where you will finally end up might bring you eternal joy or drive you mad There are two main abodes in the world Dwelling places that vary greatly In one you find happiness and gold and in the other all you ever do is moan It’s up to us to choose whether we prefer darkness to light Or just turn over a new leaf and set things aright There are two main abodes in the world Dwelling places with characters In one, the character is sweet and loving And will do everything to make you smile But in the other, all he does is to give you pain And in it you wallow the extra mile Though there’s great contrast between these abodes Don’t forget that anywhere you choose demands eternal servitude What I’ve written might not have rhyming words My only hope is that it leaves no doubt as to the meaning Which one will you belong to?
