HEAVY heart tonight. Just got home from The Med. I have a aching heart because I feel helpless but I have a part of me cracking a smile because I saw her beautiful face and some what spunk in her! She has short term memory loss due to the trauma but she knows who you are! She also has no feeling from the neck down and will have spinal surgery soon. She smiled a little and laughed a little with me which was blessing! As I lay down to go to sleep all I can do is pray to the good lord and give it all to him! Desiree Smith you are like a sister to me.. Literally like family! You made me sad when I asked you if you would let me lay there for you and take your place and you said yes.. Breaks my heart! Promise you, I wish I could! (Lord knows weve done a lot for each other.. Some good & bad ;) )Your a fire cracker and strong willed, you got this! I love you too the moon and back!
