HEBREWS - Chapter 5 - King James Version Modernized. "The reason is that every high priest taken from men is placed down over men in the things toward God, in order that he may tender both presentts and sacrifices over sins: Who is able to be gentle on the ignorant, and on them that have roamed; since he also is inclosed with feebleness. And through this he ought, just as with repect to the people, in this way also with respect to himself, to tender over sins. "And not any one takes this dignity himself; on the contrary, the one called under God, exactly as Aaron. In this way also Christ did not glorified Himself to become a high priest; on the contrary, He that utter words toward Him, You are My Son, This day have I procreated You. Just as He relates also in another place, You are a priest into the ages based on the succession of Melchisedec. "Who in the days of His flesh, when He had tendered petitions and intreaties amid strong crying and tears towards Him that was able to save Him from death, and was heard in that He feared; notwithstanding being a Son, yet learned submission off the things which He experienced; and being made complete, He became the Causer of perpetual salvation to all them that obey Him; called under God a high priest based on the sucession of Melchisedec. With respect to whom we have much to say, and difficult to relate, since you have become sluggish of hearing. "Also the reason is through this time you ought to exist as instructors, you hold the requirement that one teach you anew what are the first principles of the utterances of God; and are become such as holding the requirement of milk, and absoluteley not of solid nourishmentt. The reason is all that drink milk are inexperienced in the word of righteousness: the reason is that he is an infant. But solid nourishment is for them that are complete, through the habit of holding their perceptions trained toward estimating both good and evil" (Hebrews 5:1-14; KJVM). Amen.
