HEBREWS 13:5 Keep your lives free from the love of money, and be satisfied with what you have. CLEAR WATER is a lot of fun to fish, but it can be pretty frustrating if we are not willing to change our tactics a bit. The simplest way is to move to light line, four- to eight-pound test, and small lures. My choices are one-eighth-ounce spinnerbaits, tiny crankbaits, Blakemore Road Runners, and four-inch finesse worms. These small lures will attract fish and lots of strikes, but you will need to be satisfied with smaller bass. Most of us have a hard time being satisfied with less. It’s hard not to want or pursue money. We work harder and longer hours. We change jobs. How do we balance our needs and our family’s needs, yet still please and obey God?
