HEIGHT OF HYPOCRISY Sometimes, people in a few unguarded moments of candour, say certain uncharitable things about me, which somehow or the other, have the tendency to reach my ears. I do feel hurt and upset for a while that why did someone, who is so nice and pleasant to my face, make such nasty comments behind my back? What did I do to deserve this kind of treatment from a person to whom I have only done good? Earlier I was very impetuous and used to react instantly and gave it back to them better than I got. But now, I pause for breath, analyse the situation carefully and then thank God for making me aware of what people think of me behind my back. At least I know where my relationship truly and realistically stands with such hypocrites.
