HEINEKEN Asia Pacific Signs Agreement to Invest in Timor Leste Heineken Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. (HEINEKEN Asia Pacific), the regional headquarters of Heineken N.V. (HEINEKEN), has today signed a formal investment agreement with the Timor-Leste government. Under this agreement, HEINEKEN intends to build a multi-beverage plant near Dili, capital of Timor-Leste. Construction will commence in 2015 and plans include the manufacture of a range of drinks including beer, soft drinks and water. With the setting up of this multi beverage plant and a route-to-market across the country, it is expected that around 200 direct jobs within local sales and business operations will be created.
