HELLO EVERYONE P L E A S E READ........T H E R O D Exodus 4: KJV 1 And Moses answered and said , But, behold, they will not believe me, nor hearken unto myvoice: for they will say , The LORD hath not appeared unto thee. 2 And the LORD said unto him, What is that in thine hand? And he said , A rod. 3 And he said , Cast it on the ground. And he castit on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it. 4 And the LORD saidunto Moses, Put forth thine hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand: 5 That they may believe that the LORD God of their fathers, theGod of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath appeared unto thee. God hath purposed a rod and yet what do we use a rod for even now? We have walking canes and hiking sticks which are rods. In the book of Proverbs it is written 13:24 KJV He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes. The usage of a rod now upon a child could get you in trouble! The authority of a father to a son has diminished quite amazingly. Here the rod is for authority as is written in Revelation 3:19 KJV As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. So we soon see a verse as well in revelation which the Lord proclaims Chap. 2 v 26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: 27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. Now we all remember how the red sea was parted by the Lord but yet it is through the obedience of H I S servant to do as commanded with the R O D. Do you have a rod from the Lord? = Proverbs 12:2 KJV A good man obtaineth favour of the LORD: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn. WHO CONDEMNS? Especially here = Isaiah 54:17 KJV No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. Notice the words … “T H E I R… R I G H T E O U S N E S S”… AND “thou shalt condemn” = you being a servant do not, repeat, do not put up with any “EVERY TONGUE RISING AGAINST THEE IN JUDGEMENT” this is your “ R O D” …even thine own anger; wherefore how can ye be condemning without A N G E R ? H E A R AND R E C E I V E = Isaiah 13:3 KJV I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness. Now it is evident that we must take thought again for it is written =Psalm 97:10 KJV Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked. Proverbs 8:13 KJV The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate. PROVERBS 6 V 16 These six things doth the LORDhate : yea, seven are an abomination unto him: 17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands thatshed innocent blood, 18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in runningto mischief, 19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren. W H O SHALL S T A N D AND P R O T E C T WITH THEIR ……..A N G E R? Ephesians 4:26 KJV Be ye angry , and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: W H A T DOES A R O D DO ? Exodus 4:17 KJV And thou shalt take this rod in thine hand, wherewith thou shalt do signs. Exodus 4:20 KJV And Moses took his wife and his sons, and set them upon an ass, and he returned to the land of Egypt: and Moses took the rod of God in his hand. Exodus 7:17 KJV Thus saith the LORD, In this thou shalt know that I am the LORD: behold, I will smite with the rod that is in mine hand upon the waters which are in the river, and they shall be turned to blood. Exodus 7:19 KJV And the LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and stretch out thine hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their streams, upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of water, that they may become blood; and that there may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood, and in vessels of stone. kimdonaldcurtis-evangelist/
