HELLO FACEBOOK FRIENDS AND FAMILY, THIS IS A BIT OF A LONG POST, BUT I PROMISE YOU IT IS WORTH EVERY MINUTE OF YOUR TIME. I HATE TO BE A PEST ABOUT THIS BUT CANCER IS A BIGGER PEST, SO PLEASE CONTINUE READING: I will be participating in the American Cancer Society’s “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” walk on Sunday, October, 19, 2014 at Balboa Park and would like to challenge YOU to join me! We will meet at 7:15am for pictures and time to check out the booths. The walk will start at 8am. Last year, the first 100 participants to register with SHARP SHOOTERS were given a pink Sharp Shooters bag (see pic). We were able to raise $7,636 and had a total of 116 team members which was great! We all received a special blue ribbon for having over 100 participants. This year we are hoping to be able to get 200 bags, so that the first 200 people to register with SHARP SHOOTERS and donate a minimum of $10 will receive a really cool neon green Sharp Shooters bag. We are changing up the color this year from the pink but still using a nice bright color to stand out and the writing/breast cancer logo will remain the same. I have started this off by donating $25, please help me continue this by donating and/or walking with me on this day. However, please DO NOT let the $10 deter you from walking. We would still like to have you join our team and walk to enjoy this great experience. It is one of the most inspiring walks I have ever participated in!!! To see so many people come together to show their support is simply amazing! This walk is a very important event for me since it gives me the opportunity to take part in the fight against breast cancer. I am able to work with patients very closely (many on a close to daily basis) and see the battle they endure. For those that know me well, know that I wear my heart
