HELP A FELLOW-FOLLOWER? Jessica needs to know how to help her child grasp the concept of time and distance when it comes to understanding how far away a grandparent lives. Whats worked for you? She asks: Any ideas on how to help my almost-5-year-old to understand that we cant just pack up and go to see his grandma? We are about eleven hours away from her and we have to plan for the trips far in advance. He adores her and wants to go to grandma Sallys beach every day. He gets very frustrated and thinks we are just being mean to him. We call her and send/receive packages from her often. Im not sure how else to communicate to him in a way he can understand.
