HELP A FELLOW FOLLOWER? She asks: Im looking for activities for a 2 year old vision impaired girl. Ive been told she is completely blind, but I have an inkling she can see light and/or shadows. I am currently working as her aid in a childcare setting and have found it relatively difficult keeping her engaged in an activity as my centre hasnt provided us with many resources just for her. She has Braille books and Braille blocks but they feel she uses them too much so they dont put them out. She loves music, dancing, and blocks that she can bang together to make a noise, these are her main activities. She also likes to be active (has just learnt to climb etc). Simple sensory activities that would challenge a very clever 2 year old would be perfect.
