HELP!!! For those that do not know, I have 2 cats Reeses and Molly, who are siblings. They are INDOOR cats and are ALWAYS in sight following me around when I am home, but Molly has been missing nearly 3 days. I really do not think she got outside because they get super scared and dart right back in at the times I tried to let them experiment the outdoors. Im really getting concerned, as I cannot find her anywhere. Im telling you, my cats are like addicted to me, and are ALWAYS near me when I am home. They literally stalk me. So this has got me really worried. I also know that cats are stealthy when they do not want to be found. But 3 DAYS??? Without a sound? FYI- There has been strangers in the house remodeling the kitchen these past 2 weeks, and both my cats hide whenever someone they dont know are here, especially a bunch of drunk dudes making destroying the kitchen. So I know they have been freaking out when the guys are here, but they just go and hide somewhere, then come back out when its safe. But since Wednesday night, Molly has disappeared. I read that it is normal for a cat to be so scared that they will hide up to WEEKS without making a noise. WTF?? WEEKS?? As far as Reeses, he seems to be normal, if not a bit more affectionate than usual. Both have different personalities and Reeses is like a big, laid back dude, so maybe he is happy that he killed his sister and buried her under a pile of bath towels. Molly is more skittish and very cautious and will barrel roll under a curtain if she is scared in the least. So I can understand that she may be hiding. But for 3 days??? Ive had 2 different cats in the past before, and once, when I took one to the vet, the other was at home just wandering around wailing, as he knew his buddy was missing. And that was just for 1 day. But Reeses is not indicating any abnormal behavior. He is following me around nonstop though. Im trying to watch him to see if he can lead me to Molly, and Im starting to feel stupid as I keep asking him Wheres your sister? Anyway, does ANYONE have any advice??? I did a lot of research online and like I said, the concensus is that a cat instinctively will go in defensive mode if something abrupty scares the shit out of them, and they do a Houdini. I think I am aware of all the things I can do to lure her out, so Im seeing if anyone out there has experienced this before? Any thoughts??? Im about one day more from totally going nutcrazy! People who know me, KNOW that I adore my cats! Molly!!! Where are you???? HEEELLPP
