HELP IS RIGHT HERE The refrain of a nice song Ive loved for years goes like - hold on, help is on the way, help is on the way... As well meaning as this song is, I recently realised that it steals something from the urgency of Gods emergency response system. Psalms 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Gods help is always NOW! God is not slow to fulfill His promise as men think (2Pet 3:9). He always sends help immediately we call, but most times, we dont see his help or we lose faith too early to receive (Luke 18:8). Heres the reality we fail to see most of the time because we have our eyes on the temporary physical troubles, God Himself is our ever present help. If Hes not delivered you from the fire, then Hes with you right in the midst of it (Is. 43:2)! Pray, thank you Lord that you will never leave me nor forsake me. I cherish your presence in my life and look up to your grace in the midst of the storms. I am mightily helped in Jesus Name! Blessings, E. F. Nyarko
