HELP LADAKH BY PLAYING A SIMPLE GAME OF ICE STUPA TREASURE HUNT ! As Ice Stupa Campaign on Indiegogo crowd-funding platform reaches its last week and it has reached only 48% of its target so far,... let’s play a very simple but interesting game. A game that you’ll enjoy and a game by playing which you will contribute thousands of dollars without spending anything from your own pockets…yes, you read that right… without spending anything. All you have to spend is just 30 minutes of your life for Ladakh and... see the magic. Well here’s how! Indiegogo has a special algorithm or formula called GoGo factor… Based on the performance on this GoGo factor a project gains importance in the Indiegogo ladder of importance … this means that projects which are high on the GoGo factor will get featured on their website and in their newsletter etc. and hence get better visibility and finally more dollars from do-gooders worldwide. The only problem is that the formula for GoGo factor is a top secret of the company and no one knows it so far. But now I think I have cracked that secret and would like to share it with you all, by making it into a game. I think it is fair to play this game because most of the supporters of the Ice Stupa project are Ladakhi youth who are not used to crowd-funding mechanisms in ways people in others countries are. Let’s start playing then. Ready? …get set….GO! Step 1 First part of the Game is to check the status of Ice Stupa project on the Indiegogo site… so that you can see whether we are winning in the game or not. For this you go to this link https://indiegogo You will see that as on 17th Dec. 9.30 IST, the Ice Stupa project is nowhere in the top ‘Trending Now’ list of the website (see photo #1 below). However if you go to the EXPLORE tab above the main picture and then click the ENVIRONMENT category… You will find Ice Stupa on the 2nd Position (as seen in photo# 2 below) Well this is the present status of the Ice Stupa Project. Now the objective of the Game is to bring Ice Stupa to No.1 position in Environment section and to bring it into the top ‘Trending Now’ list on the main page. Let’s see if our collective action can do that… Well that’s the game! Welcome! Now carefully read the Perk box under the SELECT A PERK on the right side that says… HOW TO CONTRIBUTE WITHOUT $ This is the 3rd perk from the top. Now do as per the instructions there… Step #4 After you do as per the instructions just relax and see how things change and whether our… TEAM ICE STUPA wins the Game… or not. I really don’t know for sure if this game will work or not, but most probably it will… So let’s see if we have unlocked the doors to the ‘Treasure’ … And what’s the harm in trying! And by the way… if any of you do want to contribute some money also… then there is a trick to that also, in this game. You should make your payment in several installments rather than one big sum. Suppose you want to donate $ 100, then ideally you should donate $ 10 ten times. If you don’t have the time then $20 five times or $50 to times… the more times the better. THANKS.
