HELP OTHERS LIVE WELL WITH CHRONIC CONDITIONS Free volunteer training series begins Monday, December 8 Volunteer health leaders needed-no experience necessary! Do you like to help advise friends and family with their health, do you have a chronic condition? Make new friends, have fun, be part of an exciting worldwide volunteer program, impact people’s lives positively, and help maintain your own self-management skills by becoming a Living Well Leader! The Deschutes County Living Well With Chronic Conditions program is now recruiting Living Well Leaders to facilitate Chronic Disease Self-Management Program (CDSMP) workshops for people who have one or more chronic conditions (diabetes, emphysema, arthritis, migraine headaches, and heart disease, for example). Leaders will always co-facilitate with each other, no previous knowledge about chronic illness needed-all teaching is done from a detailed manual.
