HELP SEND CYN TO PINK DOOR! Being invited to Pink Door in Rochester NY July 24-28 is an honor. Pink Door is hosted by Rachel McKibbens and her family at their home as an alternative to traditionally high priced residential workshops which unfortunately price themselves right out of extremely talented writers. Three workshops, six discussion groups and three performances, set in the worlds biggest slumber party atmosphere. Talent, comfort, love, great food, hugs, sharing and amazing magick all in one place. Last year I was invited and able to go. I met and processed with some of the top talent in the country. What I brought home was new knowledge and permission to write, a fire lit in my soul and an absolute determination to go back for the 2014 addition. And I have been invited back. I’ll be reading my work and learning with Andrea Gibson, Airea D. Matthews, Dominique Christina, Natalie Illum, SaraEve Fermin, Angelique Palmer, Kai Coggin and many others. (Really, go put those names in YouTube search, I’m in awe.) The support and energy among the writers is an inspiration.
