We get call after call and are inundated with emails with pleas from shelters for us to rescue dogs that are out of time. Summers are always hard but we never remember one as hard as this summer. Just the volume of German Shepherds in jeopardy is so tremendous. We can’t keep up. We have over 100 dogs in boarding, our boarding bills are over $5,000 a week. We desperately need help until adoptions pick up again. It is heartbreaking but we can only save as many as we can afford to.
