HENDRELL REMUS FOR SCHOOL BOARD (District 11): Election day is 288 days away but the fight for our children should never wait. College Ready I support expanded access to quality Pre-K programs. I will also be an advocate for implementing more advancement courses while shaping a curriculum that prepares our children for the college environment and college level course work. Funding Education I will work to ensure that our schools are fully funded so that our children have access to the most up-to-date facilities and educational materials. I will be an advocate for the rights of teachers, helping to prevent layoffs directly related to funding deficiencies. Community Involvement In order to be more efficient and effective, we must begin to invest in the development and re-development of our communities. That investment starts with every citizen being committed to educating our children. I will work to encourage more community involvement across the school district.
