HER ART SURPASSES HER AGE JECRC today witnessed an extraordinary panorama of abstract art by a budding artist Ms. Pooja Sharma. A young but a highly acclaimed artist in her circle she has been bestowed with an award for arts by the renowned National Academy of Art (Lalit kala Akademi ) ,New Delhi. The art gallery showcased more than 40 art pieces each of them a masterpiece on its own. The event witnessed a great response by the students and faculty of the JECRC, each mesmerized by the beauty and lost in the abstraction. Even the chief guest Mr. Arpit Agrawal ,Director ,JECRC wasnt left untouched by the soul and emotions depicted in the painting as he invited Ms. Pooja Sharma to hold an interactive session with the art loving students of the college in near future. Ms. Pooja Sharma an M.A in Fine Arts from the Rajasthan University, Jaipur is a strong believer in the art of meditation. A lover of art from the very beginning she quotes Find art within your life and thats how youll find pleasure, she further adds meditation is the way to introspect and find the real you. She emphasized that engineering colleges and other educational institutes should work closely with art and artists. Overwhelmed by the interest shown by the students she shared how apprehensive she was when Mr. Mukesh Agarwal ,HOD, C.S deptt, JECRC invited her to put up an art exhibition in the college. Overall a success and a great learning experience for JECRCians the exhibition culminated with the closing remarks by the Guest Of Honor Mr. M.L.Sharma, Vice Chairman JECRC Foundation as he quoted The art of meditation is being beautifully reflected in these amazing paintings.
