Knowing various ways to preserve the taste of fresh, unsprayed herbs throughout the year enhances our cooking skills, and often provides an avenue to create unique gifts. Using an assortment of fresh herbs we will discuss which ones dry or freeze well, and make herbal butter and herbal vinegar to take home. Carole Miller is a grower of medicinal and culinary herbs, located in Coventry, Connecticut, a 2006 Master Gardener, she is a member of both the Connecticut Herb Association and NOFA, and a teacher at Channel 3 Kids Camp.
