We are looking for a flexible, enthusiastic, and motivated Quality Assurance Manager who wants to be a part of a team that is passionate about our products and the success and growth of our business. As a key member of the Tilray MMPR Facility located on Duke Point in Nanaimo, BC. Reporting to the Chief Science Officer the Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing monitoring of the quality assurance and control systems in strict compliance with Health Canada’s Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations (MMPR). The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for representing the company’s Quality Assurance Department in all Health Canada reports. Duties & responsibilities will include: Oversee Tilray quality assurance as per Division 4 of the MMPR and ensure compliance with Health Canada’s guidelines pertaining to production, processing, packaging, labeling and Good Production Practices for the MMPR program Establish and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), and Quality Assurance standards Prepare and maintain batch records; manage batch approval and release process, including final review of documents, test results and batch approval Participate in Health Canada and/or GMP inspections Supervise and be accountable for a team of Quality Assurance staff Oversee preparation of Deviation Investigation Reports (DIR), including Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA)
