HERE IS THE FISRST,PRELIMINARY FIELD REPORT FROM CHANAKYA MANDAL STUDENT KARYAKARTA WORKING IN ONE OF 180 VILLAGES IN PUNE DISTRICT Good Morning sir, The meeting was planned to be for 1 hour.. But we had to extend it by another hour. Around 40 people were present yesterday, meeting was held in Samaj Mandir. The ladies spoke up.. They spoke everything.. The men knew that females should speak.. And now we both are standing with around 22-25 list of problems in our notes.. And now we are classifying it.. Most of them are result of administrative failure.. Today we are planning to meet school head and teachers.. Talk to students and also meet the Sarpanch if possible.. One person from village had called Sarpanch yesterday for the first meeting, but due to some work we couldnt meet him... Today if possible we would meet and discuss.. There are some in our range imp problems like there is no cover on the top of water tank which is used for drinking water storage..last time a crow had drowned in that tank.. We could discuss it in Gram Panchayat and try to get it sorted.. Please keep guiding us sir.
