HERE, THERE AND EVERYWHERE...I am 92. I am not proud of the America I am leaving for my grandchildren. Our infrastructure is crumbling. Our roads are decaying and thousands of our bridges are not safe to go over. Our people are drug-riddled and violent. We have absurd laws such as stand your ground. Even though a person armed with a gun can safely leave a mild confrontation, the armed person is encouraged to kill an innocent father, brother, son etc. So far, nationally, we have had 300 murders where the person WITH A GUN has killed the human being without a gun. MURDER IS NOW LEGAL IN ALL STATES WITH STAND YOUR GROUND LAWS. Thou shall not kill has been replaced in all these stand your ground states to thou shall kill, and thou should write a book about how wonderful it feels to kill an innocent father, son, brother and make a bundle of money. IT PAYS BIG MONEY TO KILL INNOCENT PEOPLE IN GUN-CRAZY AMERICA. Black parents are warning their children, especially male children, not to go out and buy skillets and a can of tea as you can legally be killed for doing this...47% of our people do not earn enough money to pay an income tax...We stupidly got involved in two over l0 year wars in two countries, Iraq and Afghanistan, that we had no right to invading and have cost us three trillion dollars...Our Congress is impotent, and they absolutely refuse to get together and pass laws that will create jobs, and increase the income of all middle-class workers so that all of us can earn a decent income...The most disgraceful thing we are leaving to our grandchildren is a national debt of close to l7 Trillion dollars...The most wonderful thing this grandfather has done is make his grandchildren laugh at his jokes and humorous stories. Here is my laugh for the day. My god, the god who made all these billions of planets, stars etc., decides to come back to earth as a shabbily-dressed poor man and he goes into a N.Y.C. restaurant, Three young veterans seated at the next table to God feel sorry for the poor man. One tells the waiter to treat the poor soul to a hamburger. The second man offers God a piece of apple pie and the third man tells the waiter to give him a glass of wine. God finishes the hamburger and pie and drinks the glass of wine. He goes over to the three men. He notices that the first veteran is blind in one eye. He touches the eye and cures the blindness. The second veteran has a broken leg. He touches the leg and it is healed. God goes up to the third veteran and the veteran shouts, Dont touch me! I am on l00% permanent disability. To the God who made the billions of planets and stars I end this, as usual, and always, with God bless us all.
