HERES THE SCORE: LAST FRIDAYS OPENING PROGRAM OF CITY HIGHS - TopicsExpress

HERES THE SCORE: LAST FRIDAYS OPENING PROGRAM OF CITY HIGHS INTRAMURALS FOR THE CURRENT SCHOOL YEAR, SHOWED HOW INCOMPETENT AND DISORGANIZED Is THE LEADERSHIP OF THE MAPEH DEPARTMENTI Consider the following: 1. The intrams opening program must have to be formal and it should have its sequence to be followed. Where can you find in the supposed formal affair a department head shouting at the top of her voice and scolding the spectators to clear an area or a space when it can simply be done through ground crew deputization. They could have cordoned these areas long before the start of the program. 2. Teachers were invited to the stage for the program but the organizers did not provide sufficient number of chairs for them. Oddly, there was not even a single electric fan to freshen the guests! 3. The programs sequence was not strictly followed. There were so many unnecessary and irritating plug-ins or announcements which they should have been done later. These foolish plug-ins had spoiled the programs momentum and made the whole affair cheap and ridiculous! 4. When does the field mass demonstration become a story telling event? Last Friday they had it in City High through an overacted, superficial, and boring long verbal narration! The field demonstration itself tells a story and theres no need to provide a very long backgrounder in the form an annoying narrative! 5. Generally, the show was not worth of the students money they paid for their props! 6. The parents are indeed right in complaining against the exorbitant props fee! 7. Who gave MAPEH the authority to directly collect monetary contributions from the students? 8. They did not even write a letter to the Principal or to the PTA President to seek permission or approval for their collections. 9. A DEPED order prohibits any teacher to collects money from the students and with this the MAPEH department must be held liable! 10. The MAPEH leadership shall refrain from drafting and submitting an antedated letter purportedly to ask permission for their exorbitant collection. They did the collecting without strictly conforming to rules and they can not make it appear that they had sought the Principals and PTAs approval prior to their act of collecting money from the students! 11. Was there any bidding conducted for the procurement of those supplies used as props by the students? I had confirmed from it the PTA President himself that there was none! 12. The school authority must then investigate this glaring irregularity!!! 13. Next year Ill probably boycott MSPEHs intrams for obvious reasons!!!
