HEY! If you’re an 8th grader with a qualified CDIB card and a GPA of 3.5 or higher, listen up! You are eligible for the Cherokee Trail of Tears Awards for Excellence! You say-“what does this mean to me?” Well, it means a possible $200 cash if you’ll just apply. There are several categories that will be paid out to multiple students & all are most likely to win in one area or another. To earn this, you must: 1) fill out the application form sent home 2) Write a 1 page OR 500 word essay 3) gather up any MS age awards you’ve received in academics, art, citizenship, clubs, sports….and bring to the school office so we can make a copy to attach 4) Return to school office by April 3rd! It’s that simple!
